Our story

Staten Island masonry and landscape work, done right

Rock Solid Landscape & Masonry is a masonry contractor serving homeowners, property managers and commercial clients in Staten Island, New York City, and across New York and New Jersey. Since 1998, we have designed and built outdoor spaces, from pavers and patios to outdoor kitchens, pools and full landscape builds.

If your yard is worn out, messy or never quite finished, you shouldn't have to put up with it. Big outdoor jobs often take skilled work from more than one trade, and it's hard to know who to trust. We are licensed Home Improvement Contractors in New York, Florida and New Jersey, and our founder, Michael Izzo, is a Master Designer with over 25 years of experience.

You call us, we design the project, and our crew builds it with a foreman on site. Our construction foremen each have over 15 years of service. The result is an outdoor space you can use and enjoy with family and friends, built by people who stand behind it.

Do I pay anything to look at this?

That's why you see it first. Only move forward when you love the direction. Once you approve and pay, we build the remaining pages, with two rounds of refinements to make it yours.

Do I own my domain?

Yes. We point it at your new site. We never take it over, and you can move it whenever you like.

Where did the photos come from?

From your own website and Google profile. Where we didn't have a photo, we made one and marked it as a sample, and we'll swap in yours before launch.

Who writes the words?

We do, starting from what your current site and Google profile already say about you, so every fact comes from a source you can check. You approve all of it before launch.

What happens if I cancel?

Give us 30 days' notice. Your site comes down at the end of that month. Your domain, your photos and anything you gave us stay yours.
